written in response to a nasty and narrow minded post on Facebook that I had read and commented on. My opinion is that prejudice is easier if it can be compartmentalised. Humans are masters of generalisation. This post was attacking anyone that didn't fit the white, middle class, conservative, straight agenda that this person adhered to. It finished by concluding that if people want to believe things or behave a certain way then it needs to be away from them, it is not welcome in their community and it is not have any influence on their way of life. They were flatly against openness, sharing stories and commonality.

The title also ties in with a regular discussion I have had with my dear friend the singer and performer Le Gateau Chocolat. Again, to paraphrase, "I want my gays in this box, my muslims in this box, my blacks over there"....etc, etc I hope you get the picture. GET ENGAGED with your world. One love.
